Add Thousandths Decimal Worksheet – 5th Grade Addition & Decimals

Looking for simple, effective addition practice for fifth grade? The Add Thousandths Decimal Worksheet is a ready-to-print math resource that students can complete on their own after a short introduction.

Learning objective: Students will practice addition and apply the skill independently by completing each task on the page.

Why it works: Short, focused practice is one of the best ways to help fifth grade students remember a new skill. Clear directions mean students can get started quickly, and the simple format makes it easy for you to spot who needs more help.

What's included:

• 1 printable worksheet page

• Clear, student-friendly directions

• 2 practice sections (Part A to Part B)

• Answer key (1 page)

How it's organized: The page opens with these directions: "Find each sum. Line up the decimal points in a column, then add and regroup whenever a column reaches ten." The practice is split into 2 parts, so students can work through it in clear steps.

Grade level: Designed for fifth grade students. It also works well for fourth grade and sixth grade students who need extra practice or a fresh review.

How to use it: It is a great fit for morning work, learning centers, intervention groups, test review, homeschool lessons, and take-home practice.

Answer key: An answer key is included, so you can check work quickly or let students self-correct.
