Animals That Migrate word search, scramble and crossword

⭐I made this animals that migrate puzzle set for my 2nd and 3rd graders during our winter animal unit. The kids kept mixing up migrate and hibernate so I needed something simple to help them remember. I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like goose, whale, butterfly, caribou, bat, salmon, and journey. Nothing fancy — just puzzles that get them using the words over and over.

⭐ The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key. The word search is good for quiet time. The scramble gets them talking because they struggle with "caribou" every time. The crossword I save for partners. I added a couple small bird and arrow drawings but nothing distracting.

⭐Works for 1st through 4th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I ask early finishers to circle their favorite migrating animal and tell me why on the back. The kids like these better than fill-in-the-blank worksheets.
