All you have to do is print and go with this fun cactus-themed worksheet.

Students will find someone who fits the description for each cactus and they will write their initials in the pot.

In the classroom

Ask classmates simple questions to determine whether a trait, preference, or family description fits them.
Read and interpret sixteen short descriptive phrases to identify what information is needed from a peer.

Clear desks or open floor space so students can move freely around the room asking classmates about the sixteen cactus prompts.
Set a time limit for students to fill in as many pots as possible before regrouping as a class.
Use the sheet as a get-to-know-you icebreaker during the first days of the term, given its back-to-school theme.

Question formation — students ask classmates yes/no and clarifying questions to determine whether a description fits them.
