Handwriting Assessment and Letter Tracing Worksheets A to Z

This resource is a Beginning Handwriting Workbook, intended to be used with kindergarten of first grade students.

Students will learn step-by-step how to trace uppercase and lowercase letters.

There are 26 lessons in this workbook - one for every letter of the alphabet. There are review lessons along the way.

Students will have fun tracing and playing with puppets as they go. Printable puppets can be purchased separately. They are called Teacher's Creatures Phonics Puppets. There are 40 puppets, including one for each letter, plus long vowels, digraphs, r-controlled vowels, and diphthongs.

These workbook pages can be used as an assessment to see if kids are forming letters correctly.

This book contains 62 pages. Each letter has a dot numbered with the number 1, telling students where to begin, and arrows for students to follow for each step of writing the letter.
