Build a CVC Word - Christmas Theme

This packet is designed to offer a fun, engaging and educational way to practice phonemic awareness during

your Christmas unit. This packet requires a little prep. Simply print, laminate and cut out

cards. You will also need Bananagram Tiles or Scrabble Tiles. There are 22 cvc word cards

for each set (with words, without words, with beginning letter missing, with middle letter

missing and with last letter missing) included within the packet. Instruct students to sound

out picture word and place the letter tiles onto the squares on the bottom of the cards to

spell out the picture word.
