Building Word Families with Letter Tiles - Rime Time

Students are introduced to the concept of onsets and rimes. Onsets begin words or syllables. They can be single consonants, blends or digraphs. Rimes are the vowels. Students practice learning these common rimes, which will give them a foundation to recognize hundreds of words. Students build these words using onset and rime tiles.
