Dinosaur Names and Facts word search, scramble and crossword

⭐I made this dinosaur names and facts puzzle set for my 2nd and 3rd graders during our fossils unit. The kids were obsessed with dinosaurs but hated reviewing the names. So I threw together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using dinos like T-rex, triceratops, stegosaurus, velociraptor, brachiosaurus, and pterodactyl. Nothing fancy — just puzzles that sneak in learning while they think they're playing.

The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search is great for quiet time after recess. The scramble gets them arguing over how to spell "stegosaurus" (it's always a mess). The crossword has simple fact clues like "this T-rex had tiny arms." I added a couple little dinosaur footprints and bones but nothing too distracting.

Works for 1st through 4th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers pick one dinosaur and draw it on the back. The kids beg for these now.
