These ee phonics worksheets teach one vowel team in depth: two e letters working together for the long e sound. Page 1 splits seed into three sounds, then children underline the ee team in keep, week and deep, tap the sounds in keep, pick out the two ee words from seed, shed, feet and fish, and join parts to write seed and teeth.
Next come four pictures to name with a helper (tree, bee, sheep and feet), two meaning clues, and two sentences to finish with see and keep. Page 3 has four dictated words, a word chain from seed to feed to feet, and a sentence to write. A short story, A Mat for the Sheep, asks children to underline ee words, answer two questions and draw the ending. Page 5 checks transfer with new words such as meet, need, peel and speed, two spelling words, two sentences and a word to repair.
