Lewis and Clark Expedition Task Cards

About This Product
Take your learners on a journey through U.S. history with the famous duo, Lewis and Clark. Throughout this set of 20 task cards, your 4th graders and 5th graders will review the expedition that changed the face of our great country and led to the Westward Expansion. Designed with four different formats, learners will answer questions about the expedition through multiple choice, true and false, fill-in the blank, and vocabulary word unscramble. Topics focus on the reason for the expedition, who they met along the way, routes that were travelled, and specific flora and fauna discovered on their journey. The task cards flow in chronological order of the expedition giving your learners a timeline representation of the events. Adding these cards to your teaching toolbox will provide learners with a different approach to learning. Use the cards as an end-of-unit review activity or as an assessment tool. Get your learners up and moving by posting the cards around the room or in an outdoor learning space. They can answer questions individually or paired with a learning partner. With just a bit of initial prep work, you can make these task cards an activity to use year-over-year, saving you time and effort. A color version and b&w version are both included, as well as an answer recording sheet. Also provided is an answer key for each card.
