March Quick Write Choice Board

March Quick Write Choice Board is a St. Patrick's Day-themed writing activity for grades 1-4 that can be used in PowerPoint or Google Classroom. Students are presented with a choice board containing six diverse writing prompts centered around the March holiday. After selecting one of the numbered prompts, students will be taken to a slide with a partial story starter which they will expand upon through creative writing. More writing space can be added by duplicating slides if needed. Soothing seasonal background music is included on each prompt slide to help set the mood. This versatile resource allows educators to differentiate instruction and make learning engaging for early elementary students through quick writes during St. Patrick's Day. It encourages creativity, decision making and writing skills.
