Ocean Animals word search, scramble and crossword

⭐I made this ocean animals puzzle set for my 3rd and 4th graders during our habitats unit. They loved watching videos about the ocean but got bored fast when I asked them to review vocabulary. So I threw together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like shark, dolphin, jellyfish, seahorse, octopus, coral, and plankton. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to keep their hands busy while their brains work.

⭐ The PDF is four pages total. Three puzzles and one answer key page for everything. The word search is great for quiet time after recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue over how to spell "jellyfish" or whether "starfish" is one word or two. The crossword I save for partners. I added a couple simple fish and wave drawings but nothing distracting.

⭐ Works for 2nd through 5th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I ask early finishers to pick three words and use them in one sentence on the back. The kids actually ask for these now which never happens with regular worksheets.
