Puzzle collections
Crossword puzzles carry English-Spanish vocabulary through forty-two everyday themes, from air animals, airport and bakery to school subjects, university and vegetables. Every theme brings two numbered grids: one lists Spanish clues such as el ganso and la mariposa while students write the English answers goose and butterfly into the squares, and the other lists English clues while the grid takes the Spanish translations, often including an article — cabbage (2,7) fills in as el repollo. Each puzzle page is followed by its completed grid, accents written into the squares — brócoli, la habitación — so finished boards can be checked on the spot. A theme index opens the packet, and date and name lines on every page suit centers and independent practice.
