American Revolution Word Search + Sentence Activity teaching resource preview

American Revolution Word Search + Sentence Activity

The word search gives students a first encounter or review of Revolutionary War vocabulary. After finding the terms, they select eight and explain their historical relevance in separate sentences. The writing step moves the activity beyond locating spellings, and a teacher answer file supports review of the puzzle. A second page asks students to write two sentences using at least four vocabulary words in each, underline those words, and draw a scene representing the American Revolution. The teacher version includes highlighted word-search solutions; the writing and drawing responses are open-ended.
