About This Product

This three-page worksheet about angles is appropriate for grades 2 and 3. Students will identify right, acute, and obtuse angles, then they will draw right, acute, and obtuse angles. There are three levels for the product. In Level 1, students will find missing angles within a right angle and write an equation with the missing angle (for example 50 degrees + 40 degrees = 90 degrees). In Level 2, students will find missing angles within a straight line (180 degrees) and write an equation with the missing angle (for example 120 degrees + 60 degrees = 180 degrees). In Level 3, students will find missing angles within a circle and write an equation with the missing angle (for example 240 degrees + 120 degrees = 360 degrees). Students can use this worksheet as either guided practice with the teacher helping (all-class or small group), or as independent practice after the teacher has provided time for guided practice.
