There are twelve different cat breeds represented in this resource: Tabby, Abyssinian, Bengal, British Short-hair, Burmese, Persian, Maine Coon, Rag Doll, Russian Blue, Scottish Fold, Sphinx, and Siamese.

There are a variety of ways to use this set of vocabulary cards:

• You can create simple flash cards that can be used to learn about different cat breeds.

• You can create 2-part cards for matching cat images to their name for a Montessori activity.

• You can create a matching or concentration game by prepping out two of each of the cat cards.

• You can create a writing center by using the cat cards as a reference for students to write their own stories.

When to Use:

• Morning Tubs or Baskets - These cards make a great activity for students to work on as their classmates arrive to class.
