This resource is designed to guide students through the artist's biography: from his early childhood passions to his first experiments, from his encounters with other Impressionist artists (Pissarro, Renoire, Degas) to his artistic maturity.
Teaching with this resource is simple! Start by showing the biography slides: through illustrations created in Monet's unmistakable style and the first-person narrative, students will approach him empathetically, seeing him first as a friend and playmate.
Once the story is complete, you will find the proposed activities.
