Days of the Week Coloring Pages gives preschool and kindergarten children one full page for each day, Monday through Sunday. Every page has the day name in large outlined letters to color, a big, simple picture with open shapes, and a strip that shows the day before, the day itself and the day after.
An adult reads the short direction and the day names aloud, and children say the day, color the word and picture, and point to the matching name in the strip. The pictures are playful motifs, from balloons on Monday to a snail on Sunday, rather than activities tied to a particular day. A one-page teacher guide lists the week in Monday-start and Sunday-start order and suggests simple questions such as which day comes after Sunday.
