About This Product
You’ll be blown away by the detail in this set of GRASSLAND, PRAIRIE, and SAVANNAH habitat coloring pages! Each set was carefully chosen to try and highlight the different characteristics of each biome. Some are close-up and far away views. TI think you'll appreciate the wide variety of views and perspectives we chose to include. We worked hard to make sure plants and land features were included that would actually be found in each habitat. These pair wonderfully with any kind of habitat study, animal study or they can be used as the starting point for some pretty fabulous art projects including paintings. I hope you can find a creative and helpful way to incorporate these illustrations into your lessons and lives!
Note* This set of coloring pages focuses on land features and plants. There are no animals pictured in these habitats.
How to Use This:
Print and use as you study biomes and habitats. You can also use while learning about animals that live in this kind of place. Hand out coloring pencils or markers. A lighter version has also been included so that your students can have a jumping place for an art project. Have so much fun!
What You Get:
· 10 line art GRASSLAND coloring pages
· The same images provided as very light outlines so they can be used for more intricate art projects rather than just coloring pages.

Teaching tips & learning objectives
Learning objectives
Color or embellish a realistic grassland-habitat illustration centered on rabbits.
Use a lightened-opacity outline version of the same image as a base for a more elaborate original art project.
Teaching tips
Use the colored set as a visual reference alongside the matching outline set, since the file explicitly designs the outline pages to be built into 'a more intricate art project' rather than colored in as-is.
Note that this particular file focuses specifically on rabbits, even though its title references the broader savannah/prairie grassland biome — check whether other animals in the same theme are needed separately.
Credit the illustrator (Kevin Noguera) if displaying finished student work publicly, since the file itself provides his name and social handle for that purpose.
Skills covered
Observational coloring — students color a realistic grassland-habitat illustration of a rabbit.
Extended art composition — students use a lightened outline version of the same image as a starting point for a more elaborate original art project.

Questions teachers ask about this resource
What's the difference between the two sets of ten illustrations?
The first ten pages are the finished, colored/realistic artwork, and the second ten pages are the identical illustrations with the opacity lightened so they can serve as a base for a more elaborate original art project, as the file's own divider page explains.
Does this file cover the whole grassland biome or one specific animal?
One specific animal — every illustration and page heading in this file is titled 'All About Rabbits,' even though the product name references the broader savannah/prairie grassland biome.
