Greek Mythology Characters word search, scramble and crossword puzzle

I made this Greek mythology characters puzzle set for my 4th graders during our mythology unit. The kids loved hearing about Zeus and Hercules but kept mixing up which god did what. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Hermes, Demeter, Hercules, Perseus, Medusa, and Pegasus. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the character names finally stick.

The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about whether Zeus is the god of sky or lightning. The crossword I use for partners. I added a couple simple lightning bolt and owl drawings but nothing too busy.

Works for 4th through 5th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers pick one god and write one fact about them on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.
