Introducing my unique and simple to use DIY Juneteenth Love Freedom Peace Handprint Craft & Colouring Activity, which are a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) craft templates that were created just for Juneteenth! Featuring the words Happy Juneteenth, Love, Freedom, Peace, along with a Juneteenth Flag, students are meant to proudly add their handprint to create a white star in the middle of the flag and to colour in the rest of this colouring activity. The colours used in the Juneteenth Flag are red, blue and white and are representative of freedom and the end of slavery. This DIY Handprint Craft Template is a meaningful activity that allows teachers a starting point to teach students about serious subjects such as slavery, diversity, inclusion, racism, emancipation and black independence and have students create a Juneteenth Flag.
