LANDFORMS Task Cards

Break away from the traditional book and digital lessons with these 20 task cards focusing on landforms. This is a great Earth science activity for grade 3 and grade 4 learners that will keep them engaged and get them up and moving. With guidance, grade 2 learners can also enjoy using the cards as part of their science curriculum. The cards were designed to present learners with a variety of question formats including multiple choice, fill-in the blank, true and false, and unscrambling the letters of vocabulary terms. Along with practicing and reviewing various landforms, learners will also be challenged with a bit of United States geography. Additionally, they will answer a handful of questions about bodies of water including lakes and rivers. You’ll find several NGSS concepts presented throughout the cards which help build connections to leaning across multiple grades.  These task cards can be used in a variety of ways and, after initial prep work, will provide you with a quick activity to use year-over-year. Use them as part of your science centers, a fill-in activity for days a substitute is covering your class, or as an end-of-unit assessment tool. Need a fun activity for a rainy day?
