SPED Sub Binder: Schedules, Accommodations + Routines for Subs

About This Product
This SPED sub binder gives a substitute in a secondary SPED or transition room what they need to run the day: today's schedule with para coverage, where things are, accommodation quick lists, routines, community outing plans, where the emergency information lives, and an end-of-day note.
Why I made this: Subs in our rooms do fine when they know what happens when, who needs what, and where things are, and when they know to lean on the paras. Most sub binders skip the SPED specifics. These pages fill that gap, with private information kept in a pocket instead of on the desk.
What's included:
• Cover and teacher setup page
• Welcome: how this room runs
• Today's schedule and para coverage
• Where things are, with a room map box
• Student information pocket instructions
• Accommodation quick list by class period
• Routines: arrival and transitions
• Routines: lunch and dismissal
• Routine: community outing or job-site day
• Emergency information: where it is
• End-of-day note to the teacher
How I use it: Fill it in once, then update monthly. Keep private information in a labeled pocket folder, not on the open pages. Write for someone who has never been in your room. Tell your paras where the binder is. Leave the end-of-day note form on top.
Who it is for: secondary SPED teachers, case managers, transition coordinators, and paras on grades 6 to 12 and 18-21 transition teams.
What you download: one printable PDF, 12 pages, US Letter, with write-on lines and tables.
Real buildings vary. Fill in your own names, dates, and local rules. Always follow your state and district policies.
Good to know: print it once and keep the binder where a sub will find it, like the front of your desk drawer or with the office. Update the schedule and accommodation pages when your roster changes. Leave names and private information out of the open pages.
