Watercolor Backgrounds – 10 Designs for Teaching Materials and Crafts
Common Core, Creative Arts, Holiday & Seasonal, Seasons, Fall, Spring, Summer, Winter, Resources for Teachers, Montessori, Homeschool Templates, Homeschool Curriculum, Activities, Classroom Decor, Bulletin Boards, Posters, Teacher Tools, Word Walls, Banners, Door Decor, Presentations, Crafts
Watercolor Backgrounds – 10 Designs for Teaching Materials and Creative Projects (A4 Format) PNG + PDF Over the years, I’ve realized how much a soft and thoughtfully chosen background can influence the overall tone of a worksheet, project, or presentation. Especially when working with younger learners—or just trying to break away from the usual black-and-white documents—a watercolor-style background can make materials feel calmer, more inviting, and a little more special. This set includes 10 hand-designed watercolor backgrounds , all created by me in Procreate. They’re simple, versatile, and gentle in color, making them easy to combine with your own content—whether you're designing a worksheet, setting up a presentation, or putting together printable materials like task cards or signs. Each background comes in two formats : – PNG (with transparent or clean edges – ideal for digital work) – PDF (quick and ready to print) What you can use them for: – Designing worksheets or templates for student work – Presentation slides (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva...) – Game cards or instruction sets – Greeting cards or classroom posters – Backdrops for reflection or writing pages – And much more I’ve personally used them for everything from laminated instructions at learning centers to cover pages for student portfolios. The soft watercolor look adds warmth without being distracting—and pairs well with both playful and more serious content. Usage notes: These backgrounds are available for private and classroom use , and you may also use them commercially within the educational field (e.g. in your own teaching materials), as long as your own content is clearly visible and credit is given (by naming me as the creator or linking to my store). Please don’t resell or distribute the files as standalone images. Have fun using these designs to give your materials a personal and creative touch. – Heike from @Lernfitness Did You Know? My Super bundle of Christmas cards and bookmarks is a collection of digital cards, bookmarks, Christmas tags, and an envelope template I have created over the past 4 years. In this bundle, you will receive a variety of 5 x 7 card designs. Everything from green and lavender non-religious Christmas cards to variations of Christmas cards with old fashioned type pictures, some with Bible verses, some without Bible verses. In this super bundle, you will also receive 8 beautiful bookmarks that are full color, with the option to make eight single sided (Bible verse or no) or 4 double-sided bookmarks. In addition, there is a full page of 4 extra-large black and white bookmarks telling the Nativity story, for younger children to color and cut up. The 4 bookmarks each have a portion of the Biblical Nativity story so can also be used for sequencing of events activities. Included in this Super bundle of Christmas cards and bookmarks: 29 total 5 x 7 Christmas cards 27 of the cards are in full color 2 of the cards are black and white color your own 1 BONUS 5 x 7 Envelope template - all the 5 x 7 cards in the kit will fit perfectly into the template. You can pick your own color paper/cardstock to create your envelope to match the card color and style. BONUS bookmarks that are full color - you can create the bookmarks to be 4 double-sided or 8 single sided bookmarks. 4 additional bookmarks which are larger than regular 2" x 6" size, to be colored in as noted above. BONUS Gift Tags/Mini Cards - in addition, these gift tags have full color, adorable animals to decorate. They fold like a mini-book, so children can choose to use as a tag or as a mini-card. Since each card and bookmarks contains a saying, poem, or Bible verse text, you can use these as read aloud activities. Also, when students fill out the cards to give to someone for a special holiday, they are practicing writing and spelling skills as well. Not to mention social and life skills.
