Easter Counting to 10 Fine Motor Task Cards

Students will have fun counting up to 10 and practicing fine motor skills with these Easter themed fine motor cards. These cards allow students to get ample practice counting to 10 with the colorful and fun images centered around Easter eggs. Students will want to complete these cards again and again. What is Included: There is one Easter themed card for each number 1 through 10. Each clip card includes colorful and bright images to keep students engaged in counting. How to Use: Students will take a card. They will look at the Easter themed number, and then use playdough (or other small egg shaped manipulatives) to create the correct number of eggs to place on the card. The teacher may also use real egg candies as counters. When to Use: Math Center - These cards can be used in a math center by simply placing the cards and playdough inside each center . Students can work independently or with a partner to complete these cards. Morning Activity - These cards can be placed inside a morning tub or basket for students to work on as classmates arrive to class. Quiet Activity - These cards make a great quiet time activity for students who do not nap. Small Group Activity - Teachers can pull aside small groups of students to practice working on counting. These Easter themed alphabet cards are perfect for students who are learning in the spring season. They make the perfect tool for students to learn the letters of the alphabet. What is Included: This set includes one capital letter card and one lowercase letter card for each letter. Ways to Use the Cards: Play a matching game by matching the capital letters to the lowercase letters. Attach a paper clip to a letter card and use a magnetic fishing pole to "catch" the letters for a fun fishing game. Use a sand or salt tray for students to practice writing the letters on each card. Have students find the letters that you have hidden around the room for a fun letter hunt. Place the letter cards in alphabetical order. Create a pocket char game where you place the cards on a pocket chart and hide a picture behind one of the letters. The students will guess which letter the hidden picture is behind. Add objects that begin with each letter for students to match to each letter card. When to Use: Literacy Center - Place the cards in a literacy center for students to match independently or with a partner.
