The kids loved their moms but had no idea what words like Mother's Day, appreciate, or hug meant when I tried to teach them about showing gratitude. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like Mother, Mom, Mother's Day, May, love, appreciate, thank you, hug, kiss, card, flower, gift, breakfast, family, and celebrate. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the Mother's Day vocabulary finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page.
