We were learning that a baby cow is called a calf and a baby kangaroo is called a joey, but the kids kept mixing them up. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using pairs like cat/kitten, dog/puppy, duck/duckling, frog/tadpole, and horse/foal. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like point of view, narrator, first person, second person, third person, third person limited, third person omniscient, I, me, we, he, she, they, character, and outside observer. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like embryo, hatchling, chick, hen, rooster, and incubate.
