Pixel Art Digital and Printable: Operations with Fractions
Math, Fractions, Grade 6, 7, 8, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables
Pixel Art Digital and Printable : Operations with Fractions With this Pixel Art Digital and Printable : Operations with Fractions resource your students will be able to review fractions and practice operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions with unlike denominators. This is a no-prep, self-checking digital and printable activity! It cannot get easier than this to get students to practice operations with fractions! This Pixel Art Digital and Printable : Operations with Fractions is designed for both in-class and virtual learning. This activity consists of 20 operations that students will solve using either Google Sheets or printable versions. As students correctly answer the questions, a mystery picture will be revealed, keeping them engaged and motivated to complete the activity. The activity covers a range of fraction operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of improper fractions. It's perfect for students who are reviewing these concepts and need extra practice or those who want to reinforce their understanding of these fundamental math skills. One of the great things about this activity is that it's versatile enough to use in different settings. For example, you can use the printable version with your in-class students and assign the digital version to your virtual students, allowing you to teach in a hybrid learning environment. Both versions of the activity contain the same questions, so you don't have to worry about creating separate materials for each group of students. However, the printable version does have two redundant questions that have the same answers. Both digital and printable versions have the same questions, which is super helpful, right? No need to juggle different materials for different sets of students. But, just a small note: the printable one does have a couple of repetitive questions with the same answers. I guess they wanted to make sure both formats matched up. What's great is that it's totally up to you which version you opt for, depending on what fits your classroom needs. And guess what? They've thrown in the solutions! It'll be a breeze for you to review students' responses and pinpoint any areas they're struggling with. If fractions and operations (think addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of those pesky unlike denominators) are on your radar, this is a fantastic tool. It's all set and ready to go—no prep needed. Plus, it's got this mystery picture element that the kids seem to love. It really keeps them dialed in and excited about their math journey. Hope this helps!

Vegetable Number Cards
Math, Early Math, Numbers, Kindergarten, Preschool, Activities, Worksheets & Printables, Flashcards
These vegetable themed number cards are perfect for students who are learning with a food theme. They make the perfect tool for students to learn numbers up to 20. What is Included: This set includes one number card and one number word card for all numbers up to 20. Ideas for Using the Number Cards: Invite students to play a matching activity by pairing each number with its corresponding number word. Turn the cards into a hands on fishing game by attaching paper clips and using a magnetic fishing rod for students to “catch” the numbers. Place the cards in a sand or salt tray so students can trace or write the numbers and number words for tactile practice. Hide the cards around the classroom and have students go on a number scavenger hunt to find and identify each one. Challenge students to arrange the cards in correct numerical order, working independently or as a group. Use a pocket chart to create a guessing game by placing the cards in the chart and hiding a picture behind one number. Students take turns guessing which number is hiding the picture. Add small manipulatives (such as counters, cubes, or pom-poms) and have students count objects to match the number shown on each card. When to Use: Math Centers – Add the number cards to a math center for students to practice matching independently or with a partner. Morning Tubs or Baskets – Place the number cards in a morning bin for students to work on as classmates arrive. Small Group Instruction – Use the number cards during small group time to provide extra support for students who need additional practice recognizing numbers and number words. Make number recognition fun with these vegetable number cards! This low-prep activity is easy for teachers to prepare. Teachers just simply print, cut, and laminate for durability. The number cards fit perfectly in a task box for effortless setup, cleanup, and storage. Skills Assessed: These cards, depending on the materials added, can assess both number recognition and number word recognition.

IR: Phonics Workbook Reading Made Simple
Phonics, Language Development, ELA, Spelling, Kindergarten, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets
Reading Made Simple — Free IR Phonics Workbook These little workbooks have been a quiet favourite with families using Reading Made Simple for some time now. Each one focuses on a single sound and prints on just one sheet of A4 paper — double-sided, folded in half to make a neat A5 booklet that children can hold and work through at their own pace. They are entirely optional. The phonics programme works perfectly well without them, but many parents and teachers find them a useful companion — either as structured practice or simply as a source of ideas to dip into when needed. Tested by real children: One 5-year-old user is quoted as having said, 'The worksheet is the best bit of my lessons!' Other parents have noted that their child likes the worksheet because 'they think it is easy'. When learning is broken down into small, achievable steps, with no curve balls to throw them off track, every child can say, 'I can read!' When I hear these reviews, I know that I have succeeded in my aim to write a phonics curriculum that can help children of all abilities learn to read and spell. These little workbooks are just one small part of what there is to offer. Please do check out the website for more information. Each workbook offers a gentle mix of activities built around the target sound. Children will read short passages that practise the new sound alongside words from sounds already taught, track and identify the sound within words to support both reading and spelling, practise spelling and sentence writing, and work through simple editing exercises where they spot and correct mistakes. These small editing tasks are particularly worthwhile — they encourage children to look carefully at words rather than guessing from context. The workbooks are particularly well-suited to younger children just beginning their phonics journey, and to older children with special educational needs who are still building their foundational reading and spelling skills. That said, they will not suit every child. Some will find them too long, others too straightforward. Use your own judgement — pick the activities that fit, leave the rest, or set them aside entirely. There is no obligation and no right or wrong way to use them. To print: print double-sided, flipping on the short edge. Fold in half to create your A5 booklet. The answer page at the back is optional. One sheet of paper. One sound. Everything a child needs to practise, consolidate and grow in confidence.
