These sight word worksheets encourage all students to practice sight word reading fluency for the target sight word. There are three different fluency practice pages that all focus on learning to recognize, spell, and read the target sight word in context. Allowing students to practice the sight word in context gives students the ability to connect the sight word's meaning and grammatical usage to help gain a greater understanding of the target word. Each passage repeats the target word multiple times for extra practice with the word. Students will practice reading, writing, reading comprehension, and spelling high frequency words with these fluency pages. Included in this sight word fluency packet: * One reading fluency page that contains a single passage for students to read and find the sight word. * One write and read fluency page where students will write the target sight word and then read the passage. * One read, write, and draw fluency page where students will read a sentence, copy the sentence then draw a picture to illustrate the sentence. When can these be used? * Literacy activities * Independent Reading Practice * Small group activities * Shared or Partner reading activities * Homework * Morning Work * Emergency sub plans * Extra reading practice The reading fluency page and the write and read page include the same passage and is the perfect way to differentiate between students who need to focus on just recognizing the word while reading and those who need more practice with writing and spelling the sight word in the correct context. If you want to give students extra practice with place value, I have just the resource for you. What You Get: This is aRounding Worksheetthat was designed for 2nd grade students who are working on or have mastered this skill. It also works well as a review for students. It is a 2-page printable. The first page consists of 2-digit numbers. The second page consists of a combination of 2-digit and 3-digit numbers. This provides an increase in complexity and differentiation for students. How To Implement This Resource: You can print off enough copies of this worksheet for each student to have. You may also choose to print only a few copies and laminate those. If you choose to laminate them, students can use dry erase markers to write answers. This is a great way to turn this into a math center or small group activity. Students will begin with practice for rounding to the nearest 10. This comes in 3 different sections of completing number sequences, coloring numbers that are 5 or more, and rounding. On the next page, students will get additional practice with rounding to the nearest 10 and will finish with rounding numbers to the nearest 100. This is great for an independent assignment or homework. It also works well as a math quiz or assessment that could be scored for a grade.
