Apple 2D Shapes Clip Cards

Practice recognizing 2D shapes with these fun apple clip cards. Students will have fun practicing shape recognition and identifying shapes, along with building their fine motor skills with these apple themed clip cards.

What is Included:

This resource includes one clip card for each of the following shapes: circle, rectangle, triangle, square, star, heart, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, trapezoid, rhombus/diamond, semicircle, parallelogram, and oval.

How to Use:

• To complete these cards, students will use clips to place onto the shape that matches the shape of the apple on the card. These apple themed clip cards can be placed inside a task box along with the clips used to complete the cards. This will allow students to easy set up and then clean up this math activity. The task box allows teachers to easily store the activity when not in use.

Where to Use:

• Morning Tub or Basket - These clip cards work well as a morning activity for students to work on as their classmates arrive to class.

• Math Center - Place the cards in a math center for students to work on matching each shape.

• Small Group Activity - Teachers can pull aside small groups of students who need extra practice with recognizing or identifying 2D shapes.

These clip cards are a low prep option for teachers to use to help students practice recognizing their 2D shapes. The cards need to be printed out, cut apart, and laminated if desired. The teacher just needs to add the clips that students will need to complete this activity.
