Bilingual English-Spanish Numbers word search, scramble and crossword puzzle

I made this bilingual numbers puzzle set for my 1st and 2nd graders during our dual language unit. The kids could count in English but had no idea what words like uno, dos, or tres meant in Spanish. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like uno/one, dos/two, tres/three, cuatro/four, cinco/five, seis/six, siete/seven, ocho/eight, nueve/nine, diez/ten, once/eleven, doce/twelve, trece/thirteen, catorce/fourteen, quince/fifteen, and veinte/twenty. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the number vocabulary finally stick in both languages.

The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess or indoor recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about whether "quince" sounds like fifteen or not. The crossword I use for partners or as a review. I added a couple simple number block and Spanish flag drawings but nothing too busy.

Works for K through 3rd grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers write the Spanish numbers from one to ten in order on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.
