⭐I made this birds of North America puzzle set for my 3rd and 4th graders during our animal unit. We were supposed to be learning about local wildlife but the kids kept getting bored with the usual worksheets. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using birds like eagle, cardinal, blue jay, owl, hawk, robin, woodpecker, and crow. Nothing fancy — just simple puzzles to keep them engaged.

⭐The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search is good for quiet time after lunch. The scramble gets them talking because they argue over how to spell "woodpecker" or whether "blue jay" is one word or two. The crossword I save for partners.
