Colorful Math Worksheets for Pre-K and Kindergarten - Counting to 10

Numbers and Counting are the foundation of higher-level math. This colorful counting activity pack contains multiple activities that are focused on the numbers 1-10. A full page of colorful activities is included for each individual number. Each page Includes six different activities.

The objective of this activities pack is to increase enjoyment of schoolwork, provide color enrichment, familiarize children with different wild animals (cartoon versions), provide different styles of activities to help children who have unique learning needs...every child learns differently.

Even though this is a primarily math oriented educational product. Students will also learn about letters, start to read, increase word knowledge, be able to identify colors and 10 different animals.

Recommended age group is pre-k to kindergarten. However, older kids and kids with special education needs can greatly benefit. It can also provide easy review for children who need reinforcement with previously learned material.

Including the following activities:

1. How to write the number (number picture and number word).

2. Groups of animals that need to be counted. Animals included:

   1 Sloth, 2 Moose, 3 Adorable Monkeys, 4 Spying Giraffes, 5 Red Jellyfishes, 6 Green and Yellow Seahorses, 7 Grey Stingrays, 9 Purple birds, and 10 Yellow Bees.

3. Lines of practice writing, picture and word numbers.

4. Mini search requiring student to find the correct number (in group more than once) and circle it.

5. Fill in the missing number, which is the number in between two numbers. For example, 1 and 3.

6. Fill/Color in the correct number of circles (1-10).

Short sentence reading is also included. For example, "This is one sloth," "Color three circles," "Find and circle the number five," and "What is the missing number?"

This is the first of a total of 10 activity packs that will go through 100.

Older students can practice reading as well as their counting skills. All students will practice counting, number recognition, and writing. Each page has one number and a matching color to make it fun and colorful.
