Which language are the instructions written in?

French throughout. Each sheet opens with a French instruction line — "Remplissez les blancs avec la contraction correcte", "Encerclez la contraction correcte dans chaque phrase", "Réécrivez chaque phrase" — and every item is French as well. The only English on any page is the Name and Class header.

Which contractions are covered?

Eight, named in the first instruction line: du, de la, de l', des from the de family, and au, à la, à l', aux from the à family. Both families appear on every sheet, so students choose the preposition as well as the article form.

How do the six sheets differ from each other?

Each takes a different route to the same rule: filling gaps in sentences, circling one of two printed options, matching a contraction to a bare noun, choosing from three multiple-choice answers, rewriting long-form sentences, and joining sentence openings to contracted phrases.
