About This Product

These ten task cards give transition students hands on practice with sorting, counting, labeling, and packaging skills that transfer to real work settings. Students sort plain items by color and by size, count treat bags, write and place labels, package small and large items into bags, match labels to bags, record totals, check a simple order, and reset the station. The setup guide lists materials such as bins, colored items of two sizes, blank labels, and bags. Cards are designed to print, cut, and laminate for repeated use in independent work systems or vocational centers. A data sheet tracks independent performance versus prompted support with space for notes. The activities stay age appropriate for middle school, high school, and transition programs serving ages 14 to 21. All content is original with no brand names or characters. Teachers can set up the station once and rotate students through the cards. The skills support prevocational goals such as following directions, accuracy, and workplace organization. Print the cards and data sheet, gather simple materials, and start. Use the data sheet to monitor progress over several sessions. Made by Jeremy D. Gooch, special education teacher and transition coordinator. Drafting and layout had AI assistance; every page was checked by me.
