Producers and Consumers word search, scramble and crossword
⭐I made this producers and consumers puzzle set for my 3rd and 4th graders during our economics and ecosystems crossover unit. The kids kept confusing who makes things and who buys or eats them. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like producer, consumer, factory, farmer, baker, shopper, goods, services, and sell. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help separate the two terms in their heads.
The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search is good for quiet time after lunch. The scramble gets them talking because they argue over whether "baker" is really a producer (yes, they make bread). The crossword I save for partners. I added a couple simple store and farm drawings but nothing too busy.
Works for 2nd through 4th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I ask early finishers to name one more producer or consumer on the back. The kids like these better than my regular worksheets.
