Teaching tips & learning objectives
Teaching tips
Assemble at least one die and one set of goal cards ahead of time — construction calls for cutting, folding, gluing, and optional lamination before play can begin.
Print the two-A3-sheet board if you have access to larger paper, or the four-A4-sheet version if you only have standard printer paper.
Review the roll rules (pass moves the ball forward, steal hands it to the other team) with students before starting; the included instructions also invite groups to adapt the rules further.
Skills covered
Cooperative gameplay — two teams take turns rolling the die and moving the ball toward the opposing goal, following the included pass/steal rules.
Following multi-step construction directions — students or teachers cut, fold, and glue the die, score cards, and trophy from printed templates.
Turn-taking and rule tracking — teams track ball position and possession changes based on each die roll.
