World Cup 2026 Pennant Banner – Spain

This Spain pennant banner was created as a simple classroom decoration during the World Cup period. When students started mentioning different teams, I added the banner as a small visual reference. It worked well without needing additional planning.

The pennants can be printed in color, but the black-and-white pages can also be used for a short coloring activity. Some students colored a few pieces, while others helped cut and connect them. Once finished, the banner was hung across the wall and stayed up for several days.

The layout is clean and doesn’t take up much space. I prefer decorations that don’t feel too busy, especially when they remain in the classroom during regular lessons. This one blends easily with different classroom setups.

The file is provided as a printable PDF. Print the pages, cut them, and connect them with string or ribbon. Laminating is optional if you want to reuse the banner later.

This type of display works well during international events and can be used with different grade levels.

Questions teachers ask about this resource

How do I join the pennants together?

The instructions give two options: punch holes in the top of each pennant and thread string or ribbon through them, or punch holes in the corners and join pennants with brad fasteners.
