Circle next number that is not crossed out (the first one is 2) 3. Cross out numbers that are divisible by number you just circled Repeat faces 2 and 3 until there are nothing but primes left. This longer version gives interested students a possibility to examine further, how much prime numbers there are when we go further with the natural numbers. (This is interesting, because it kind of connects very simple school math with higher level mathematics. If students want to examine further, for example from Wikipedia, they will realize that the density of prime numbers (prime number theorem) is something that a number of very skilled mathematicians have spent countless hours with. Of course, knowing the first prime number is essential to survive with more complicated fractions in secondary mathematics (or higher). That way, faster students can find all the primes lower than 400 in the same time when some students may be able to find only the smaller ones. Each of these student groups will at the end of the day benefit from it. This one is free! The pdf is not editable and most suitable for printing and then doing with pencil and paper. This goes with different grade levels from upper elementary to high school.

This is a Make Numbers to 20 Worksheet . This is a 2 page printable for each student to complete. There are 5 columns on each of the pages. The columns consist of making 11 through making 20. There are 10 problems for students to complete in each column. Each problem follows the same sentence frame with a student having to complete the second number to complete the sum. At the bottom of the second page, there is a space for you to score this worksheet. A timer is included before the score. In order to accurately time track, you can: -Have a stopwatch running and displayed on the board for students to write down their own time when they finish. By doing it this way, you can have an entire class of students complete their worksheets at the same time. This will only work if students are old enough to understand tracking time. A great way to implement this is to model it many times with practice pages. -Complete this worksheet in small groups, a few students at a time, with the teacher or a paraprofessional. By doing it this way, you can give students attention and write their times down on your own. Making sure you have accurate times for students will allow you to implement this same worksheet repeatedly to measure and track growth.
