The kids could point to a triangle but had no idea there were different types based on sides or angles. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like triangle, side, angle, vertex, equilateral, isosceles, scalene, acute triangle, right triangle, obtuse triangle, congruent, equal, sum, 180 degrees, and polygon. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the triangle vocabulary finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about whether an equilateral triangle can also be a right triangle. The crossword I use for partners with picture clues. 3D Printing Vocabulary word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this 3D printing vocabulary puzzle set for my 4th graders during our STEM unit. The kids loved watching the printer work but had no idea what words like filament, nozzle, or layer meant when we talked about how things are printed. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like printer, filament, nozzle, layer, design, model, create, plastic, heat, and build. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the 3D printing vocabulary finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess or indoor recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about whether the printer melts the plastic or just stacks it. The crossword I use for partners or as a review. I added a couple simple printer, nozzle, and plastic coil drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 4th through 5th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers draw what they would design and print on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.

Baby Animals Vocabulary word search, scramble and crossword ⭐ I made this baby animals vocabulary pack for my 2nd and 3rd graders during our farm and wildlife unit. The kids kept mixing up foal and colt or calling every baby bird a chick. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like cub, calf, kit, pup, joey, tadpole, fry, and larva. Nothing too hard but enough to make them think. ⭐ The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles and one answer key page. The word search is for quiet time or early finishers. The scramble gets them arguing about whether a baby goat is called a kid or something else (it's kid). The crossword works better in pairs. I added a few small animal drawings but kept it clean so it prints nicely. ⭐ Works for 1st through 4th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have them pick three baby animal names and write one fact for each on the back. Takes another ten minutes. The kids actually enjoy these.

So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using names like Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Gershwin, Handel, Haydn, Joplin, Liszt, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, and Vivaldi. I also threw in a few lesser-known but important names like Clara Schumann and Scott Joplin to broaden the mix. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess or when the music class gets a bit too loud.
