Student Goal Setting Templates: Set Personal Goals | Back To School
Two versions of the same student goal-setting sheet ask students to record four goals: a target final grade, a maximum number of late assignments, a self-chosen goal of their own, and an optional fourth goal the teacher adds during a conference. One version comes with goals #1 and #2 already worded and blank lines for specific action steps; the other leaves every goal blank for customized wording. Each sheet ends with a student-signature line; the separate teacher directions suggest parents may also sign. The signature is meant to formalize the goals as a commitment. Teacher directions included in the file outline a three-step process — distribute the sheet (on paper or via Google Classroom), collect the signed sheets, and hold an individual meeting with each student to discuss and revisit the goals throughout the year.
