Easter word search puzzle worksheet activity Easter Word Search - Holiday Classroom Activity I made this Easter word search for my 3rd grade class last spring when we needed a fun but educational activity before break. It's a simple 2-page PDF with 24 holiday-themed words hidden in the puzzle - things like "bunny," "basket," and "chick" that kids actually associate with Easter. The words are placed horizontally, vertically, and diagonally to make it challenging but doable for elementary students. I printed them in pastel colors and used them as a quiet activity after our Easter egg hunt. The kids loved racing to find all the words first! You get: • Page 1: The word search with clear, easy-to-read letters • Page 2: A plain answer key for quick checking I use this when: Needing a last-minute holiday activity Wanting to calm students down after an egg hunt Teaching about spring traditions The words are all familiar Easter items - "jellybeans," "lamb," "tulips" - nothing too obscure. Last year, my students got really excited when they found "chocolate" hidden diagonally in the puzzle! Format: Basic PDF (2 pages) Teacher Tip: Have students circle their favorite Easter word in the puzzle!
