An ESL/EFL viewing-and-writing worksheet for use alongside the documentary "Own the Room", giving students a structured guide for capturing information and reflections about the film.

A Shrek 2 movie guide gives ESL students a structured post-viewing packet built around the film. Students first record the director, genre, cast and release year, then log ten new vocabulary words and their meanings in matching numbered blanks. A character-analysis grid asks students to write descriptions for ten named characters, from Shrek and Donkey to Prince Charming and the Big Bad Wolf, split across two columns. The final pages move into personal response and creative writing: a favorite-scene reflection with reasons, a personal review, and a three-part diary written from the point of view of a chosen character retelling three scenes.
Assess or give practice with basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts.
A movie-guide worksheet packet built around the animated film Goat leads students through pre-viewing film details (director, genre, actors, release year), a running vocabulary log for new words and their meanings, and individual note space for each of the film's ten named characters, including Will Harris, Modo Olachenko, and Florence 'Flo' Everson. A Movie Timeline section gives students space to map out the film's events in order. The packet closes with reflection prompts — a favourite scene, why the student liked the film, and a personal review — followed by a prompt assigning three diary pages on additional paper in which students write from a chosen character's point of view across three different scenes, capturing that character's thoughts and emotions.
Students use Toy Story 5 to collect English vocabulary, character descriptions and events before writing about the film. Ten character boxes and a timeline organize observations, while favorite-scene and review frames ask for an opinion and a reason. The three-page diary task extends the response into a chosen character’s voice and can be assigned as a separate writing lesson.
