Grade 4 McGraw-Hill Reading Wonders Words to Know - COMPLETE SET
ELA, Language Development, Vocabulary, Grade 4, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets
Practicing Wonders Words to Know is often a bit of a boring task for most students. That's why we made it a bit more fun. First of all, you can guide students through the book along with the vocabulary list. Here it shows the part of speech, the word, the definition and an example sentence. This way, students don't even need their books anymore to practice all of the words at home. Another fun element is the word search. This word search is based on the definitions, so the student is not given the correct answer right away. This way, they really have to dig into their memories to come up with the correct answer. After all of the practicing is done, it is time to do the test. You can present this by first giving the definition and then to let the student fill out the correct answer. The second part is a fill in the blanks exercise.

This is the complete worksheet set for Eons: Life and Death on Pangea (PBS, 2026): a fill-in-the-blank worksheet for every one of the 6 episodes, gathered in a single download. Each worksheet tracks its episode in the order the film presents it, so students write as they watch and finish each day with an organized record they can revise from. It suits Earth Science and Geology classrooms (grades 8-12) running a full deep-time unit - geologic time, plate tectonics, the Paleozoic, tectonic uplift, and mass extinction, and Biology and Life Science classes teaching evolution, common ancestry, herbivory and food webs, and the synapsid path from Permian therapsids to the first mammals. Every episode includes its own answer key, and the keys are grouped together at the back so you can print just the student pages for a class set. The layout is clean and low-ink throughout, designed to print two-sided. Episodes covered: The Formation of Pangea, How Eating Plants Shaped Life, Rise and Fall of an Ancient Reef, A Tale of Tusks and Saber Teeth, That Time Almost Everything Died, and Who Survived the Great Dying. A self-grading digital version is included as well. The last page of the PDF carries a "make a copy" link for each of the 6 episode quizzes; one click drops a ready-made copy into your own Google Drive, where you can assign it through Google Classroom or simply by link. The questions match the printable worksheet, every item is multiple choice so grading is fully automatic, and scores appear under the form's Responses tab the moment a student submits. Use the printable set, the digital quizzes, or both. If the set saves you prep time, a quick rating wherever you downloaded it helps other teachers find it. US History Bell Ringers Unit 3 - 45 Daily Warm-Ups (Grades 6-8)
Earth Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Science, Grade 6, 7, 8, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables
These US history bell-ringers give middle schoolers a calm, consistent way to begin class. Unit 3 gathers 45 short prompts on Civil War, Reconstruction & Industrial America, arranged as nine weekly pages a teacher can hand out each Monday and collect on Friday. Each day asks something different - a vocabulary term used in context, a few sentences to read and answer, a short source or data set to interpret, a quick check, and a question that asks students to make a claim and back it with evidence. The variety keeps the routine from going stale while still reinforcing secession and the Civil War, emancipation, the war's end and the Thirteenth Amendment, Reconstruction and its rollback, industrialization, immigration and the growing city, the West and the Plains nations, Progressive reform, and World War I. Everything is print-first: a clean PDF that copies well, uses little ink, and needs no accounts or devices. A full answer key and a standards page (CCSS literacy in history and social studies) are included so planning and grading stay quick. Designed for grades 6-8, the prompts work as a daily opener, a spiral review, or a settle-in task while attendance is taken. The routine is the point: the same five-minute opener every day, so students settle without being asked twice. It prints cleanly in black and white, which keeps a full class set cheap to photocopy. Each page stands alone, so a substitute can hand out the week without any briefing. The answer key makes grading quick, whether you collect the pages or review them together as a class. It works in person, hybrid, or remote, and fits a homeschool schedule just as well as a full classroom. No logins, accounts, or devices are required — just the printable PDF. Because a week sits on a single page, students who were absent can catch up without chasing loose handouts.
