This 'ai' set of 2 phonics anchor charts is excellent for acquainting children with words in the 'ai' spelling family, for both reading and spelling development. What is included in the pack? One brightly coloured 'ai' phonic anchor chart which can be used as a word wall, or for teacher use One black and white phonics anchor chart, which can be coloured by pupils What do the worksheets involve? The colour 'ai' anchor chart can be used as a word wall or as an aid to teaching the 'ai' digraph. The black and white anchor chart can be coloured by the pupil. The act of colouring helps the family of 'ai' words to be fixed together as a group of words in the child's memory. In addition, children can be encouraged to think of a story, using as many words on the 'ai' anchor chart as possible. How to use the anchor charts One of the great difficulties of learning digraphs, encountered by the middle and lower thirds of the class, is remembering which digraph to use for each word. For example, is it cake, or caik? By linking words in the same family together, children can be helped to overcome this difficulty. This is how this phonics anchor chart can help. Children will greatly enjoy colouring the non-clip art, realistic pictures. Always encourage neat colouring, as this sets a standard for all work. Who are the phonics anchor charts for? Young learners Those with a special need Due to their non-babyish nature , they can be successfully used with older ESL/EFL pupils. Who can use the phonics anchor charts? Teachers Parents Home educators Tutors Adult education Anyone! Answer keys: There is no need for an answer key. Watch out for more phonics anchor charts from Lilibette's Resources in the future!

Add and Subtract 5-Digit to 8-Digit Numbers - Standard Algorithm
Math, Addition and Subtraction, Addition, Subtraction, Grade 4, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets

These Worksheets provide an extensive source for reinforcing the skills needed for adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers using the standard algorithm. You can differentiate right from the beginning and build up the confidence, accuracy and speed at a pace that is just right for each of your students. There are 16 Sets, starting from addition of 4 & 5-Digit numbers and subtraction of a 4-Digit from a 5-Digit number to addition with four 8-Digit numbers A standout feature is the worksheet randomization. With a single click, educators can generate an entirely new set of questions, making it a renewable resource for the entire school year. Be it for classwork, revision, or homework, adaptability ensures students achieve proficiency in the topic. You could also use any of the worksheets to explain or introduce the subject to your class as you will have almost unlimited examples to work with and they will be different from the actual worksheets you hand out to your students. As these worksheets need little explanation and no preparation, they are ideal if you need to leave work for a substitute teacher. You have a choice of whether to give your students a worksheet with the questions prepared fully in the standard format or add in the extra step of requiring your student to write out the questions in their exercise books to practice aligning the digits based on their place values . You can choose from three number formats based on the way the thousands and hundreds are separated in your region i.e. with no space, a comm or with a space. Answers found on the second page of every worksheet are automatically generated when you create a new worksheet. Lastly, it's essential to note that these resources are compatible PDF documents. They operate seamlessly with the official Adobe Acrobat Reader on both Windows and Mac. Plus, the randomizing features are effortlessly accessible via touchscreen devices or interactive whiteboards. High School Famous People in History Reading Passage and Q & A

High School Famous People in History Reading Passage and Q & A
ELA, Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies, High School, Homeschool Resources, Teacher Tools, Assessments, Quizzes and Tests, Lesson Plans, Worksheets & Printables, Writing Prompts

You know that moment when your teenager gives you that look after you hand them another boring history book? My 9th grader practically perfected the eye-roll when it came to learning about "dead people from way back when" (her words, not mine!). I finally got fed up with watching her zone out during history time—these are not just random names and dates, these are the people who literally changed everything! After way too many late nights researching and writing (and lots of coffee), I put together these High School Famous People in History Reading Passage, Q & A, and Note-Taking Sheets that actually tell their stories in a way that makes sense to teenagers. The best part? My daughter actually started asking questions and voluntarily bringing up history during dinner conversation—when that happens, you know you've found something that works, and I'm hoping it'll do the same thing for your family's history studies. INCLUDED IN THIS RESOURCE: In-depth exploration of historical figures in history 20 thought-provoking questions about historical impact Detailed guided responses to help parents facilitate meaningful discussions 5 Note-Taking Sheets to help students organize information and develop analytical thinking skills TOPICS COVERED: Scientific and Mathematical Pioneers Literary and Artistic Luminaries Political Visionaries and Social Reformers Technological and Medical Breakthroughs Okay, so here's the deal—I spent forever putting together this High School Famous People in History Reading Passage, Q & A, and Note-Taking Sheets because I was tired of my kid thinking history was just a bunch of boring old stuff. These readings aren't fluff—they really dive into what made these people tick and how they managed to shake up the entire world. What I love is that the questions actually make kids think instead of just spitting back whatever they memorized five minutes ago, and the note-taking part keeps everything organized without making their brain hurt. My daughter went from literally groaning every time I mentioned history to actually telling her friends about some of the crazy things these historical figures did. Trust me, you are going to find yourself pulling this out over and over because there's always something new your kid will pick up on that they totally missed before. If you and your students/homeschoolers enjoyed this resource, please leave a review. Thank you for your support! Tina - Big Easy Homeschooling Mom
