Community and Workplace Safety Signs Task Cards: Functional Reading

About This Product
Community and workplace safety signs task cards for high school special education, life skills, and job readiness classes. 36 sign cards drawn in real shapes and colors, with A B C choices on every card.
Why I made this: Students need to read the signs on a job site and around town, not only the ones in a workbook. I drew these in the shapes and colors students will actually see, including DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION, and NOTICE styles.
What's included:
• 36 sign cards: community, workplace, and safety signs
• A B C answer choices on every card
• Recording sheet and answer key
• Sign words matching page
• A Sign Hunt page for a community walk or job site visit
How I use it: We use the cards in centers, task boxes, and job site safety training. Then we take the Sign Hunt on the next community trip to check recognition in real places.
Who it is for: functional reading and life skills classes, job site safety training, and community based instruction in grades 9 to 12 and transition programs.
What you download: one printable PDF, 13 pages, US Letter. Answer key included.
