Coral Reef Animals word search, scramble and crossword

⭐I made this coral reef animals puzzle set for my 3rd and 4th graders during our ocean unit. The kids loved looking at pictures of reefs but got bored fast when I asked them to review vocabulary. So I threw together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like clownfish, sea turtle, starfish, eel, stingray, seahorse, coral, and anemone. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to keep them learning without the whining.

The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search is great for quiet time after recess. The scramble gets them talking because they mix up letters on words like "anemone." The crossword I save for partners. I added a couple simple fish and coral drawings but nothing too distracting.

Works for 2nd through 5th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers pick one animal and write one fact about it on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.
