What sort of clues do the puzzles use — synonyms, or something else?
Short definitions. Animals asks for "A bird that quacks" and "A pet that loves to purr"; Shapes asks for "A shape with four equal sides" and "A shape that means love". Each answer is a single common word such as duck, cat, square or heart.
A "Did you know" line sits above each grid — how do those fit with the puzzle?
They are trivia starters rather than clues, and four of the six match the page they head: green shades on Colors, ants on Animals, lightning on Weather and the number seven on Numbers. The Shapes and School pages carry facts about pencils and about butterflies, so those two read as standalone talking points.
Can the six puzzles be used in any order?
Yes — each page carries its own title, trivia line, grid and clue list, and nothing on one page depends on another, so they work singly, as a weekly rotation or as one stapled booklet. The cover marks the file SET ONE.
