Supply Room Restock Work Task Box | Par Levels + Counting | SPED

About This Product

Supply Room Restock Work Task Box: a hands-on vocational work task box for high school special education, transition, and job skills programs. Students print, cut, and work through three levels on their own while you take accuracy data.

Why I made this: Restocking is steady work at clinics, hospitals, and schools, and it is a job many of my students can do well once the counting makes sense. The hard part is not the stocking. It is knowing when a shelf is low, how many to bring, and what to do with the box that expired last month. This box starts with a yes or no question and builds to a real shelf audit.

What's included:

• Level A: 12 shelf cards to sort LOW or OK (par 10 or less)

• Level B: 24 shelf cards to figure how many to bring (numbers up to 20)

• Level C: 24 shelf audit cards with 2 or 3 items each, including 8 expired items to pull and 7 rotate checks (numbers up to 50)

• LOW and OK sorting mats

• 1 Restock List for Level B

• 1 Main Supply Room Par List and 1 Shelf Audit Sheet for Level C

• 3 practice pages, one for each level

• Answer key for every card and practice page

• Data sheet and a 10-session accuracy graph

• A plan for trying it for real at school, with a 5-item supervisor check

• Blank cards for each card type

How I use it: At Level A, students sort shelf cards onto LOW or OK mats. At Level B, they figure how many to bring (par minus on shelf, up to 20) and write it on the Restock List. At Level C, they audit 2 or 3 items per card using the Par List, pull expired items, check that older dates are in front, and figure what to bring, with numbers up to 50. All math is whole numbers. There is no money math. Students check card codes; cover with tape if needed.

How this set is different from my Job Site Task Cards: My Hospital Support and Custodial Job Skills Task Cards teach site rules and task sequences on printable cards. This Work Task Box is a supply-room counting station with par levels, expired pulls, rotate checks, self-check codes, and a data sheet. No hospital or custodial procedure cards are repeated. There is no money math (that stays in Money Math Task Cards).

Part of the Work Task Boxes series: one layout across every job, three levels (A match, B use a reference, C handle twists), self-check codes, blank cards for your own site, and a data sheet with a 10-session graph.

Who it is for: high school special education, transition programs for ages 18 to 21, vocational and CTE classes, job coaches, and work-based learning teams. Grades 9 to 12 and adult transition. Level A works for emerging readers within that band. The tasks look like real jobs, not preschool sorting. No clipart or photos are needed, so the cards stay simple and age-respectful.

What you download: one printable PDF, 28 pages, US Letter. Answer key included.

Real workplaces vary. Use the blank cards to match your building's rooms, names, codes, and supplies. Always follow the training and rules at the actual job site.
