USA 50 States License Plates – Blank Templates

This PDF has 17 pages of plates plus two blank pages and includes 50 blank license plate templates; one for each state, made from scratch. Each state name is written in a font and color closely resembling a real license plate from that state. There are 7 blank boxes on each license plate, evenly spaced and lightly outlined, so kids can copy the numbers and letters they find on a real license plate from each state. You can use this activity during class (if you're able to take kids for a walk in the parking lot or on the sidewalk in front of your school), or as a FUN homework assignment in fifth grade (or ANY grade if you're studying anything related to United States geography, transportation, mapping, tourism, or highways). You can also send this home as a SUMMER assignment for kids to take on road trip vacations.
