Getting to know students and their families lays the foundation for a successful school year. This My Family Activity Booklet provides engaging worksheets for students to share information about their loved ones in class. The printable booklet contains 10 illustrated pages with writing prompts focused on the child's family. There is a sheet to think about their family tree starting with their grandparents. One page shows picture frames to draw portraits of the people that live in their house with them. Other pages have spaces for drawing family portraits and writing sentences about their family members thinking about what they love most about them. These activities encourage self-expression and foster a welcoming classroom community. Students beam sharing details about the special people in their lives. Displaying completed booklets also enables classmates to discover similarities and honor diverse families. The My Family Booklet is perfect for back-to-school "All About Me" units or family heritage projects. Teachers can work individually with students to customise booklets to their family structure and needs. Children will love becoming classroom experts on their own families! With its warm tone and engaging format, the My Family Activity Booklet provides a wonderful way for students to creatively share information about the foundation of their lives - their loved ones. A great inclusion resource!
